Machado Meyer advises underwriters on CBD’s R$1.5bn debenture issue

Machado Meyer Advogados advised the underwriters in the 18th issue of debentures of Companhia Brasileira de Distribution in the total amount of R$1.5 billion

Machado Meyer acted as counsel to Banco Bradesco BBI S.A., Banco BTG Pactual S.A., XP Investimento Corretora de Câmbio, Títulos e Valores Mobiliários S.A., preparing, negotiating, analyzing and reviewing the documents in the 18th issuance of simple debentures, non-convertible into shares, in two series, unsecured, for public distribution with restricted distribution efforts, by Companhia Brasileira de Distribuição, in the total amount of R$1,500,000,000.00.
