Machado Meyer advised CTEEP; Tauil & Chequer advised Itaú BBA and Bradesco BBI
Machado Meyer Advogados advised Companhia de Transmissão de Energia Elétrica Paulista – CTEEP , one of the largest private transmission companies in the Brazilian electricity sector, in its 12th debenture issue, with a total value of R$ 700 million.

The offering was public with restricted distribution efforts, under the terms of CVM Instruction 476. The funds raised will be used for debt refinancing and to replenish the company’s cash flow.
Tauil & Chequer associated with Mayer Brown in São Paulo advised Banco Itaú BBA S.A. and Banco Bradesco BBI S.A., acting as coordinators. The firm’s team was led by partners Luis Montes (pictured center) and Daniella Raigorodsky Monteiro (pictured right) along with associates Thatiana Siqueira and Giovanna Bakaj and intern Giuliana Torelli.
