Machado Meyer assists Itaúsa in the purchase of 8.53% of Aegea for R$1.3bn
Machado Meyer advised Itaúsa S.A. in the investment in Aegea Saneamento e Participações S.A. in the amount of R$ 1,339,800,000.00
Machado Meyer Advogados advised Itaúsa, the holding company that owns Itaú Unibanco, which bought 8.53% of the basic sanitation company Aegea, for R$1.3 billion.
As a result, Itaúsa also acquired 10.2% of the voting capital of Aegea and other rights, as indicated by the members for the Board of Directors, the Audit Committee and the Finance Committee of the company.
