Machado Meyer assists Scala in the purchase of Algar Tech’s data centers
Machado Meyer assisted Scala Data Centers S.A in the acquisition of the totality of shares owned by Algar TI Consultoria S.A
Scala Data Centers S.A., a Digital Colony Data Center platform in Latin America, acquired all the shares held by Algar TI Consultoria S.A. and issued by Nimbus Data Center Ltda.
After the corporate restructuring process, Scala enters the market in the Campinas region, the largest in the interior of the state of São Paulo and also the tenth largest city in Brazil.
This is a strategic transaction for Scala Group, comprised within an investment package of approximately R$ 2 billion in data center assets until 2022, to expand the Group’s operation within the State of São Paulo.
