Madrona Advogados advises Solana on Itaú deal

Madrona Advogados advised Solana Gestora de Recursos and its partners in connection with the transfer of the management of the investment funds administered by Solana to Itaú Unibanco Asset Management (Itaú Asset). The move forms part of Solana’s integration into Itaú Asset’s multi-manager platform and involved the migration of all ten members of Solana’s team along with approximately BRL 450 million in assets under management.

The transaction closed on September 4, 2026, after the satisfaction of conditions precedent customary for operations of this nature, including the required regulatory and corporate approvals as well as the consent of the quotaholders of the relevant investment funds.

Madrona Advogados’ Corporate and M&A team was led by partner Luciana Felisbino, together with Renzo Lima and Izabel de Lima e Silva. The firm’s Investment Funds practice was handled by partner André de Vita. Itaú Asset was advised by its in-house lawyers Rafael Skinner de Lucca and Annette Pereira.
