Madrona Fialho advises Orizon on the partial acquisition of Revert
Orizon Valorização de Resíduos, through its wholly owned subsidiary Orizon Meio Ambiente (OMA), acquired 51% of the final disposal division of Revert – Soluções Ambientais, consisting of the landfill located in Juazeiro do Norte, state of Ceará.
The transaction also includes a call option of the remaining stake (49%) under pre-defined conditions.
The project is the only proper disposal of waste in the region with a population of approximately 1.4 million inhabitants and an estimated generation of up to 1,200 tons per day to be disposed of in the landfill.
The transaction value is confidential.
