Madrona Fialho strengthens team with five new partners
Madrona Fialho Advogados reinforced its expertise in tax law, litigation, mediation and arbitration, corporate and M&A with five new partners.
The firm promoted four senior associate attorneys to partners: Lidia Rossi (pictured top left) and Barbara Monduzzi (pictured top center), both in the corporate and M&A area; André Martins (pictured top right), in litigation, mediation, and arbitration; and Leandro Vieira (pictured bottom left), who will also join the tax team. Rafael Malheiro (pictured bottom right) is the only one who had not been part of the Madrona Fialho team. He has over 25 years of experience in tax consulting, with a background in boutique consulting and litigation firm, and prominent law firms in São Paulo.
A graduate of PUC-SP, Malheiro also holds a specialization degree in Finance from FIA/FEA/USP. He is a guest lecturer at IBDT (Brazilian Institute of Tax Law) and APET (Association of Studies in Tax Law in the state of São Paulo) and has been a professor of extension courses at the B3 Institute and Saint Paul Business School. Rafael Malheiro has been recognized by various rankings, including Chambers & Partners, Global, and Latin America.
Leandro Vieira is one of them, reinforcing the Tax team. He has been with the firm for nine years but has been practicing tax advisory and litigation in medium/large law firms since 2002.
In the Litigation, Mediation, and Arbitration team, the new partner is André Martins, with 20 years of experience, having built his entire career within the firm since 2004. With expertise in corporate and civil litigation, he works on high-complexity cases focusing on dispute resolution and defending the interests of companies in various sectors.
In the Corporate and M&A team: Lidia Rossi and Barbara Monduzzi. Lidia has been with Madrona Fialho for five years, with 18 years of experience in the field, focused on negotiating mergers and acquisitions, joint venture agreements, and shareholder agreements. She has prior experience in other full-service firms in São Paulo. Barbara specializes in transactional matters, particularly in mergers and acquisitions, structuring joint ventures, and private equity and venture capital investments. She also works on the conceptualization and implementation of corporate governance projects. Barbara has been with Madrona Fialho since 2013.
