MAMG appoints a new partner in the strategic litigation area
MAMG Advogados has promoted a new partner to the strategic litigation area: Beatriz Mantovani Bergamo (pictured). A lawyer at the boutique focused on dispute resolution since the end of 2021, Beatriz has almost 20 years’ experience focusing on litigation, having worked at several full-service and specialized law firms in Brazil.
A specialist in complex litigation cases, Beatriz represents companies in various industries, such as construction, energy, agribusiness, hotels, technology, entertainment, human and animal health. She has strong experience in defending clients in public civil actions and sensitive class actions, involving environmental issues and strategic product liability claims. Beatriz acts strategically both at first instance and before State and Higher Courts.
She also has a solid practice in domestic and international arbitrations related to infrastructure projects and commercial and corporate disputes, as well as experience in matters related to administrative and regulatory law, including concession and bidding processes.
Beatriz holds a bachelor’s degree in law from USP, with an exchange course at the University of Coimbra Law School (FDUC) in Portugal, and specializations from the Getulio Vargas Foundation in Contracts and Infrastructure Contracts, as well as a postgraduate degree in Contract Law from the same institution. Beatriz also has international academic experience, having studied at the American University – Washington College of Law.
