Marins Bertoldi Advogados has strengthened its practice in Digital Law and New Economy with the entrance of new partner Rhodrigo Deda

Marins Bertoldi Advogados has reinforced the expansion and strengthening of two interconnected areas of practice: Digital Law and New Economy, with the entry of new partner Rhodrigo Deda (pictured).

The consolidation of products and services in compliance with the General Law of Data Protection (LGPD), in force since September 2021, and also those related to ESG practices, a set of environmental, social, and governance actions that aim at increasing sustainability in business, are among the priorities of the new partner.

With a Master’s in Technology and Society and a PhD in Software Engineering, Rhodrigo Deda has accumulated, in his professional career, experience in the areas of Social Communication, Technology, and Innovation.

Attorney Rhodrigo Deda began his career in a business law firm in Curitiba, focusing on serving medium-sized family-owned companies. Over the years, he has dedicated himself to Digital Law, Data Protection with great emphasis on the technology and innovation sectors, building a multidisciplinary professional journey. He is also a law professor in post-graduation and extension courses.

In addition to his expertise in Law, he has structured several startup acceleration programs in themes of social impact and in the legal sector, has acted as a mentor in open innovation programs in the automotive and electrical sectors, and also as an advisor for innovation planning in the public sector, among others, and now Deda takes on the new challenge, as a partner.
