Martinelli Advogados announces three new partners

Martinelli Advogados has announced the admission of three new partners as part of its national expansion strategy focused on key regional markets: Adriano Cursino (pictured left) in Northeast Brazil, Poliana Almeida (pictured center) in Minas Gerais and Romero Lobão Soares (pictured right) in Rio de Janeiro.

In Northeast Brazil, Adriano Cursino will lead initiatives across Tax, Corporate, Finance and M&A, bringing a track record in structuring business groups, designing governance models and advising companies during growth and restructuring cycles.

In Minas Gerais, Poliana Almeida strengthens the firm’s contracts and real-estate practice, with a focus on the legal structuring of sophisticated developments, land-regularisation projects and due-diligence processes in strategic transactions.

In Rio de Janeiro, Romero Lobão Soares joins the tax team with extensive experience in corporate international taxation and tax advisory, having spent nearly a decade leading cross-border planning projects, complex reorganisations and M&A transactions for global corporate groups. His practice also encompasses the tax analysis of technology-transfer arrangements — including trademark licences, patent exploitation, franchising and software licensing — expanding the firm’s capabilities in technically demanding, high-value matters.
