Martinelli Advogados expands tax and labor practice with new hires
Martinelli Advogados has expanded its roster of national partners with the hiring of Bianca Rothschild, Bruno Frydman Menaged and Mariana Brassaloti, respectively for the tax and labor areas.
Bianca has over 20 years’ experience in large companies, such as Odebrecht, where she coordinated the tax area. Between 2016 and 2022, she was a full member of the Administrative Council for Tax Appeals (Carf). Before joining the firm, Tauil & Chequer Advogados was associated with Mayer Brown.
With a specialization in Tax Law from IBET and in Financial Controllership from FIPECAFI, she will be based in Rio de Janeiro, working with client portfolios throughout the country. Bianca will be based in Rio de Janeiro.
Bruno has an LLM in Tax Law from Queen Mary University of London and a postgraduate degree in Tax and Financial Law from Universidade Federal Fluminense.
He has experience working with large and medium-sized companies, both national and multinational, in tax planning and diagnosis. Before joining the firm, he worked at Ernest Young. Bruno is a member of the Tax team in Rio de Janeiro.
Mariana has more than 18 years’ experience, with a solid track record of advising on highly complex individual and collective labor issues, strategic labor litigation, labor compliance and corporate ethics. Before joining the firm, she was a leading lawyer at Motta Fernandes Advogados.
Mariana has a postgraduate degree in Labor Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC) and an LL.M in Business Law from INSPER. She will be responsible for leading the labor advisory and litigation area at the São Paulo office.
