Marval acts on Mercado Crédito XXXVII fintech’s loan issuance

Argentinean Marval O’Farrell Mairal has advised on a banking transaction on finance and fintech. This is the thirty-seventh issuance the firm assisted on fiduciary securities under the “Mercado Crédito” financial trusts. The amount of the issue totaled V/N ARS 109,999,994,565 and is part of the Mercado Crédito Global Trust Securities Program, which securitizes 100% digital loans.

The issuance was made on June 5, 2025 and included trust debt securities for V/N ARS 87,999,995,652 and participation certificates for V/N ARS 21,999,998,913.

Under the same structure used in the previous issues, the trust assets in Mercado Crédito XXXVII consist of consumer and working capital loans granted 100% digitally to users and consumers through the execution of private instruments subscribed by electronic signature, through MercadoLibre’s electronic platform.

The National Securities Commission authorized the public offering of these trust securities, which are traded on A3 Mercados.

Marval O’Farrell Mairal’s legal counsel was led by partners Juan Diehl Moreno and Sergio Tálamo, along with associates Sebastián Swinnen and Lautaro Penza. Micaela Varas Bleuer, María Victoria Suarez and Paulina Rossi acted as in-house counsel to MercadoLibre.
