Marval advises banks on $13m Entre Ríos Crushing loan

Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal has acted as counsel to a group of banks on a $13.2 million refinancing agreement for vegetable oil production company Entre Ríos Crushing.

Marval logoThe banks are Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires, Banco Santander Río, Banco Francés, Banco Comafi, Banco CMF and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Argentina).

Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires acted as arranger, administrative agent, guarantee agent; and lender and Banco Santander Río, Banco Francés, Banco Comafi, Banco CMF and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Argentina) acted as lenders.

The loan was secured with a mortgage over the industrial soybean oil plant located in the industrial park of Gualeguaychú, in Entre Ríos province.

The disbursed funds were used for the pre-financing of exports of goods that were produced in the industrial plant of Entre Ríos Crushing.

Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal’s team was led by partner Roberto E. Silva and included associates Francisco Abeal and Magdalena Sarquis.

Law firm Bomchil acted as adviser to Entre Ríos Crushing, with partner Adrián Furman and associates Francisco Zappa and María Victoria Genoni.
