Marval advises PVCred on loan securitisation
Argentinian law firm Marval, O´Farrell & Mairal acted as legal adviser in the creation of the PVCred XXXVII financial trust fund and the issuance of debt securities totaling 296,881,000 pesos ($8.3 million).
PVCred is an Argentinian financial services provider owned by Buenos Aires-based commercial bank Grupo Comafi.
The issuance, which took place in late October, included Class A and B floating rate debt securities.
PVCred acted as settlor and administrator, Banco Comafi as organiser, general administrator, collection agent, escrow agent and lead underwriter; TMF Trust Company (Argentina) as trustee; and Macro Securities and Comafi Bursátil as co-underwriters.
Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal acted as the legal adviser in the transaction, led by partner Roberto E. Silva, Jr. and associates Martín I. Lanús and Matías J. Paños.
The trust was created as part of Banco Comafi’s trust securities program, Comafi Multiactivos.
This transaction was authorised for public offering by the Argentine Securities and Exchange Commission (CNV).
