Marval appoints 4 new partners

Marval O’Farrell Mairal has announced the appointment of Agustina M. Ranieri, Francisco Abeal, Fernando M. Alemany and Eugenio Hoss as new partners of the firm, to strengthen the practice areas in which they are located: Energy and Corporate Finance, Banking and Finance, Litigation and Arbitration and Intellectual Property.

Agustina M. Ranieri (pictured left) joined the firm in 2007, in the Energy and Corporate Finance area. She graduated with honours from the University of Buenos Aires and holds a master’s degree in Economic Analysis of Law from the Complutense University of Madrid. She has previously worked as an international associate at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP in New York and at The Walt Disney Company (Latin America).

Francisco Abeal (pictured centre, left) joined Marval in 2004 and is a member of the Banking and Finance and Exchange Controls areas. He holds a law degree from Universidad Católica Argentina and an LLM from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in Chicago. He has experience abroad, as a foreign associate at Bingham McCutchen LLP (now Morgan, Lewis & Bockius) in New York. He is currently a member of the Argentine Committee of Banking Lawyers.

Fernando M. Alemany (pictured centre, right) has been with the firm since 2008 and is currently part of the Litigation and Arbitration team. He graduated with honours from the University of Buenos Aires and was an exchange student at New York University. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from the Universidad de San Andrés and a recent postgraduate degree in Artificial Intelligence and Law from the Universidad de Buenos Aires. Prior to joining the firm, he worked at Bulló and M&M Bomchil.

Eugenio Hoss (pictured right) has more than a decade of experience in the area of Intellectual Property. His academic background includes an LLM in Intellectual Property at the MIPLC in Germany, and a PhD from the University of Munich.
