Marval, Bomchil, Linklaters and Greenberg instructed on America Airports $485 million IPO
Marval and Linklaters acted for the joint bookrunners while Greenberg Traurig and Bomchil advised the issuer.
Corporación América is a holding company which owns Aeropuertos Argentina, the airport operator. The company owns concessions to operate 51 airports worldwide, including 36 in Argentina, plus additional airfields in Armenia, Brazil, Ecuador, Italy, Peru and Uruguay.
The company plans to use proceeds from the IPO in New York, the first one by an Argentine company in 2018, to repay debt and to finance its expansion.
Oppenheimer, Merrill Lynch, Citigroup Global Markets and Goldman Sachs acted as joint bookrunners.
The banks instructed a team at Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal led by partner Roberto E. Silva as local Argentine counsel.
Linklaters provided international counsel to, with partners Conrado Tenaglia, Jeffrey Cohen and Matthew Poulter at the helm.
America Airports instructed M. & M. Bomchil Abogados in Argentina, led by partner Patricio Martin.
Greenberg Traurig lawyers in NY and Miami advised the issuer as international counsel, partners Marc Rossell and Randy Bullard fronted the team.
