Marval counsels on Loma Negra’s notes issuance

Marval O’Farrell Mairal has represented Loma Negra Compañía Industrial Argentina on its  Class 5 Notes for a nominal value of US$112,878,134, at a fixed nominal annual interest rate of 8%, maturing on July 24, 2027.

The notes are denominated and payable in U.S. dollars in Argentina, under its global program for the issuance of simple notes (non-convertible into shares) for up to US$500,000,000 (or its equivalent in other currencies).

Loma Negra, the leading company in the production and commercialization of cement in Argentina, will use the proceeds from this issuance to strengthen working capital in the country and refinance existing liabilities.

Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires acted as organizing and placing agent, while Banco Santander Argentina, Balanz Capital Valores, Puente Hnos, Allaria, Invertir en Bolsa, Petrini Valores, Facimex Valores, Cocos Capital, Adcap Securities Argentina, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Argentina), PP Inversiones, Option Securities and Banco CMF acted as placing agents.

Marval O’Farrell Mairal acted as legal advisor to Loma Negra led by partner Sergio Tálamo (pictured) and associates Juan Pablo Lentino, Agustín Ponti and Lautaro Penza. Loma Negra’s internal legal and financial team was composed of Luciano Babuin, Fabián Fuente, Guillermo Braun Vedoya and Diego Jalon.
