Marval O’Farrell Mairal advises American Tower on Telxius Towers acquisition

Marval O’Farrell Mairal has counselled American Tower corporation on the acquisition of Telxius Torres LatAm and Telxius Torres Argentina

 Marval O’Farrell Mairal has advised American Tower Corporation on the acquisition of 100% of Telxius Torres Argentina, in a transaction worth approximately 40 million euros.

The company announced on 3 June that it closed the Latin American tranche of the acquisition of Telxius Towers, comprising more than 7000 communications sites in Brazil, Peru, Chile and Argentina, for a total consideration of approximately 900 million euros.

American Tower, one of the world’s largest Real Estate Investment Trusts, is an owner, operator and developer of multi-tenant communications real estate with a portfolio of approximately 214,000 communications sites.
DLA Piper through its offices in Chile and Peru, as well as Pinheiro Neto Abogados and Allen & Overy in Spain, also advised the company on the transaction.
