Marval O’Farrell Mairal appoints two new partners

Marval O’Farrell Mairal has announced the appointment of two new partners: Alejo Martín Gascón (pictured left) and Milagros Ibarzábal (pictured right), which reflects the firm’s litigation & arbitration and public & administrative law practices.

Alejo Martín Gascón joined Marval in 2012 and currently focuses on consumer protection, Litigation, and Arbitration. He is recognized for his expertise in product liability and fintech disputes, with a strong background in regulatory advice and recall processes. Alejo is known for handling complex litigation involving scientific and technical elements.

He earned his law degree from the University of Buenos Aires and holds a Master’s in Law and Economics from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, as well as completing the “Regulation of Consumer Markets” program at The University of Chicago.

Milagros Ibarzábal joined the firm in 2019 as part of the public & administrative law practice, leading strategic and highly complex regulatory matters for local and international clients. She graduated with honors from Universidad Austral and holds an LL.M. from New York University, where she received the Dean’s Graduate Award.

Additionally, she earned a Master’s degree in Administrative Law from Universidad Austral with academic distinctions and was awarded a Botín Foundation scholarship in 2012 to participate in a Latin America Public Administration program at Brown University.
