Marval on acquisition of ValoraSoy by Moolec Science

Marval O’Farrell Mairal has counselled Moolec Science, a foodtech company, on the acquisition of a 100% stake in the SME ValoraSoy, which produces texturised soy proteins.

The deal was worth USD 6 million, which will be paid in a combination of cash and shares based on the achievement of certain targets.

This transaction will make a significant contribution to global food security by combining the technology of both companies, as it will reduce the cost of protein-rich foods with higher levels of functionality and nutrition.

Marval’s team was led by partner Diego Krischcautzky (pictured), together with associates Diego Di Leonforte and Salvador Muttini.
