Mattos Filho advises on ExxonMobil and Galp oil pact
Mattos Filho assisted ExxonMobil Exploração Brasil and Galp Energia Brasil in the negotiation of a Cooperation Agreement and other instruments for their joint participation in the 5th Auction of Union Oil and to set out the protocols for nominating and out-chartering each Party’s DPSTs Vessels to the other Party for the lifting of the oil acquired from PPSA when necessary.
ExxonMobil and Galp jointly participated in the 5th Auction of Union Oil held by Empresa Brasileira de Administração de Petróleo e Gás Natural S.A. – Pré-Sal Petróleo (PPSA), in which they acquired 14 million barrels of oil.
The transaction value was US$ 950 milhões
