Mattos Filho and Lefosse act on Tecnobank’s acquisition by Evertec
Mattos Filho advised Evertec, through its Brazilian subsidiary Evertec Brasil Informática, on the acquisition of 75% of Tecnobank Tecnologia Bancária‘s equity interest, a leading company in the vehicle financing contract registration segment in Brazil, which was advised by Lefosse.
The transaction value was BRL 786.764.706,00 and also involved the negotiation of a call option for the remaining 25%, exercisable until 2028. The completion of the transaction remains subject to the fulfillment of certain conditions precedent, including approval by CADE.
