Mattos Filho and Souto Correa on TMF’s acquisition of FIDD
Mattos Filho and Souto Correa Advogados advised on the acquisition of FIDD Group by TMF Group, which used TMF Brasil Administração e Participações.
The completion of the transaction is conditioned upon the fulfillment of certain conditions set forth in the Agreement and regulatory approvals, including from the Central Bank of Brazil.
The transaction unites a leading fintech with a strong presence in the investment fund administration and management market in Brazil, which has, in addition to the regulatory know-how of the sector, authorization granted by CVM to act in fiduciary administration and fund control in Brazil, with one of the global leaders in providing essential administrative services for companies.
TMF Group’s client portfolio benefits from FIDD Group’s know-how and vice versa, and the transaction enables TMF Group’s entry into the regulated Brazilian investment fund management market.
