Mattos Filho and Veirano on the issuance of LinhaUni
Mattos Filho and Veirano Advogados advised on the public offering of the 5th issuance of infrastructure debentures of Concessionária Linha Universidade (LinhaUni), in a single tranche, in the total amount of BRL 500 million.
The public offering is part of a larger context regarding the financing of the infrastructure project of the construction and maintenance of São Paulo’s Linha 6-Laranja metro, with the BNDES and other international banks.
Concessionária Linha Universidade is responsible for the resumption of São Paulo’s Linha 6-Laranja metro. The project is a public-private partnership (PPP) established between the State Government of São Paulo in October 2020, which sets a 24-year contract for construction and operation.
Mattos Filho advised the issuer, Concessionária Linha Universidade and relied on partner Bernardo Môcho (pictured left) senior associate Aimi Sagae Mello Dumans Royse, associate Isabelle Barreira Munarin.
