Mattos Filho and Vieira Rezende

Mattos Filho and Vieira Rezende operate in BRL 1.35 bi financing

Mattos Filho represented Vinci Airports and the Amazon Airports Concessionaire in the contracting of a R$1.35 billion financing, through two sources, including a debt issue in the capital markets.

The Bank of Amazonia (BASA) provided R$750 million and the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) made R$600 million available for investments in infrastructure debentures issued by the concessionaire. BNDES also acted as underwriter for the debentures.

The financing will go to seven airports in the North region of Brazil – Manaus (AM), Porto Velho (RO), Boa Vista (RR), Rio Branco (AC), Tefé (AM), Tabatinga (AM) and Cruzeiro do Sul (AC) – that were privatized in 2020 through the international public auction promoted by ANAC.

Vieira Rezende Advogados advised BNDES, Banco da Amazônia and the syndicate formed by BNP Paribas, Santander and ABC do Brasil.
