Mattos Filho assists Blackstone in the sale of Rio Atlântica Hotel

Mattos Filho represented Blackstone in the sale, by Green – Fundo de Investimento Participações Multiestratégia, of all shares representing the corporate stock of its subsidiary Rio Atlântica Hotel, which is the owner of the real estate property where the Hilton Copacabana Hotel is currently located, in Rio de Janeiro.

The transaction has been approved by the Brazilian Antitrust Authority (Conselho Administrativo de Defesa Econômica – CADE), but the completion of the transaction is still subject to other conditions precedent. The transaction value was confidential.
