Mattos Filho guides CNPC in Chevron consortium deal
Mattos Filho advised CNPC Brasil in the 5th Cycle of the Permanent Offer Concession Auction for Oil and Gas. CNPC Brasil formed a consortium with Chevron Brasil Óleo, and the consortium was considered the major winner of the auction. In total, they acquired nine blocks, all located in offshore areas of the Equatorial Margin in the Amazon Basin. Chevron acted as the operator in all blocks, with participating interests ranging from 50% to 65%.
