Mattos Filho works on a R$ 250 million agreement between CNP and Caixa Seguridade
Mattos Filho advised CNP Assurances on an agreement with Caixa Seguridade for the sale of coop-payment plans
The law firm Mattos Filho, Veiga Filho, Marrey Jr e Quiroga Advogados assisted CNP Assurances in the execution of an agreement with Caixa Econômica Federal and Caixa Seguridade to form a new joint venture to explore, on an exclusive basis, consórcio products in Caixa Econômica Federal’s distribution network.
With the creation of the new joint venture, CNP Assurances will benefit from an exclusive distribution contract for 20 years and, in return, will pay an amount of R$ 250 million. The deal was closed on March 30th.
