Mexico’s Creel hires new counsel

Mexican law firm Creel, García-Cuéllar, Aiza y Enríquez, has hired Luis Salinas as counsel in the firm’s fiscal litigation and controversy practice. 

Luis Salinas of CreelPrior to his hiring at the firm, Salinas (pictured) held the position of head of the tax contributors’ defence office ((PRODECON), where he also held the posts of deputy prosecutor of systemic analysis and diector general of international affairs, and sat on the sub-committee of prevention and resolution of fiscal dispures of the United Nations, and prior to that worked as an associate during seven years in the Washington, DC and Mexico City offices of a global law firm.

He holds a law degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, from where he graduated in 2008, and an LLM from New York University.
