Miranda & Amado and Estudio Rodrigo instructed on international offering by CBC Peruana
Miranda & Amado acted for Citigroup Global Markets and JP Morgan Securities, the placement agents, on a $20 million offering by CBC Peruana.
CBC Peruana is the local subsidiary of the beverage and bottling multilatina Central America Bottling Corporation (CBC). The company, headquartered in Guatemala, entered Peru in 2015 and has operations across 9 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The international offering included the company´s 8.00% senior Guaranteed Notes due 2029. The issuance was fully guaranteed by its parent company, The Central America Bottling Corporation, and its subsidiaries.
Partner Juan Luis Avendaño led the team advising the banks, which instructed Shearman & Sterling as NY counsel.
The issuer retained Hogan Lovells in the US and Rodrigo Elias & Medrano in Peru.
