Carlos Glave and Alberto Ventura

Miranda & Amado promotes two new partners

Peruvian law firm Miranda & Amado has announced the promotion of Carlos Glave and Alberto Ventura as new partners of the firm, effective 1 January 2023.

Carlos Glave (pictured left) focuses his practice on the resolution of disputes related to public law matters such as constitutional or administrative litigation, as well as arbitration. He is a lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, where he is now a professor in the Law Department, and holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Law from Queen Mary University of London. He previously worked as a partner at Priori & Carillo Abogados, and as a foreign associate in the New York office of Chaffetz Lindsey. He is also a member of the list of arbitrators of the Arbitration Centre of the Lima Chamber of Commerce and is an Ambassador of Queen Mary University of London in Peru.

Alberto Ventura (pictured right) has extensive experience advising on mining, energy, agrarian and infrastructure projects in general, related to various environmental issues such as protected natural areas, water resources and obtaining licenses, authorisations and permits before different State entities. He joined the firm as an associate in 2011. Alberto holds a law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and has been a member of the Civil Association Ius et Veritas. Prior to joining the firm he worked at Estudio Ferrero Abogados and Estudio Grau Abogados.
