MKGV advises VML on the international acquisition of Corebiz
MKGV Advogados acted as lead external counsel to VML, a WPP company, on the acquisition of the international operations of Corebiz Group, a leading digital commerce agency and strategic partner of VTEX, Shopify, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud, which was advised by Demarest Advogados.
The transaction marks the second stage of a broader deal initiated in 2022, when VML acquired Corebiz’s Brazilian operations. The current stage involves the purchase of Corebiz International and its subsidiaries across seven jurisdictions: Brazil, the Netherlands, the UK, Spain, Chile, Argentina, and Mexico.
Corebiz is one of the most recognized players in the Latin American and European e-commerce markets, with over 700 professionals serving more than 140 clients worldwide. The acquisition enhances VML’s digital capabilities and expands its ability to deliver cutting-edge digital commerce experiences.
