Morimor counsels Sojitz on Grupo Sílaba acquisition
Morgan & Morgan Legal has counselled Sojitz Corporation on the acquisition of the shares of Silaba Motors (also known as “Grupo Sílaba”). As part of the transaction, Sojitz also acquired the subsidiaries of Grupo Sílaba, as well as a significant group of properties strategically located throughout the Republic of Panama.
Grupo Sílaba, with over 30 years of history, is an automotive distributor operating in the Republic of Panama and represents the KIA, MAZDA, OMODA, JAECOO, KARRY and NIU brands.
Sojitz Corporation is a renowned Japanese conglomerate engaged in a wide range of businesses in various industries, such as automotive, infrastructure, health, mass consumption, among others.
