Morimor in capital raising for Mercandú

Morgan & Morgan Legal has acted as Panamanian legal advisor to Mercandú, an El Salvador-based startup that operates the largest marketplace in the Central American region, offering more than 500,000 products, in a capital raising round.

The capital raising round took the form of equity-raising in favour of two important new partners, namely Endless Ventures, an investment fund based in Texas, United States of America, and Corporación Televicentro, a leading Honduran multimedia, television, press and radio company.

Thanks to this round of financing, the company will be able to accelerate its growth, expand in the region, provide better technology on the customer and merchant side, and expand the range of services that Mercandú provides to its customers and users, including Mercandú Pay, a payment method developed by the same group.
