Morimor represents Kraft Investments in registrations with the Panamanian Stock Market

Morgan & Morgan has represented Latin American Kraft Investments in connection with the registration of corporate bonds and revolving marketable commercial securities with the Superintendencia del Mercado de Valores de Panamá (“Superintendency of the Securities Market of Panama”) for US$60 million and US$40 million, respectively.

The registration of the revolving corporate bonds was carried out through the abbreviated registration process for recurring registered issuers, so that the company can offer them publicly in multiple series and issue different classes of bonds.

Regarding this transaction, the first series of bonds for US $1,000,000 was successfully registered in the Latin American Stock Exchange (Latinex). The funds received by the company from the placement of the first series will be used for refinancing, working capital growth, acquisitions, mergers and acquisitions and capital expenditures of the company or its subsidiaries.

The registration of the revolving marketable commercial securities was through an abbreviated registration process for recurring registered issuers, so that the company can offer them publicly in multiple series. The first series of these securities for US $5,000,000 was successfully registered with the Latinex. The funds will be used for refinancing, working capital growth, acquisitions and mergers and acquisitions, and equity investments by the company or its subsidiaries.

MMG Bank Corporation acted as structurer, placement agent, broker-dealer, and paying agent, registrar and transfer agent in both transactions.

Latin American Kraft Investments is a Panamanian holding company that consolidates several subsidiaries engaged in the production and marketing of packaging (corrugated, folding carton, chipboard, flexible packaging, inks and luxury packaging) in the Central American and Caribbean region, Mexico, the United States and some European countries.
