Multiple firms advise on deal between Acelen, Perfin Infra and Illian
Veirano Advogados and Souto Correa Advogados represented Perfin, VMB Jurídica represented Illian, and Stocche Forbes Advogados represented Refinaria de Mataripe on the entered into an investment agreement for the joint development of solar power projects between Perfin Discovery Mercury Fundo de Investimento em Participações em Infraestrutura, Refinaria de Mataripe (Acelen) and Illian Energias Renováveis (Illian), aimed at satisfying the electric power consumption needs of Acelen.
The projects are located in the Municipality of João Dourado, in Bahia, and will have an installed capacity of, approximately, 161MWp, also contibuting for the achievement of the corporate goals of descarbonization of Acelen.
The transaction involves the investment of R$ 115 million by the parties, in the aggregate, in the UFVs, and is subject to certain conditions precedent, among them, the approval by CADE.
