Multiple firms advise on Neuquén notes issue
The Province of Neuquén, a province of the Republic of Argentina, issued US$500,000,000 in Notes due 2034 in the international capital markets. The Notes, issued under the Program for the Financing of Infrastructure and Debt Repayment of Neuquén, bear interest at a rate of 7.350% per annum.
J.P. Morgan Securities, Santander US Capital Markets and Balanz Capital UK acted as initial purchasers in connection with the issuance. Banco Santander Argentina and Balanz Capital Valores acted as Argentine placement agents for the transaction.
Bruchou & Funes de Rioja acted as Argentine law counsel to the initial purchasers and placement agents, with a team led by partner Alejandro Perelsztein and associates Manuel Etchevehere, Micaela Zarate and Santiago Martin.
The Province was assisted by a legal team from Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, which acted as United States counsel through a team led by partners Juan G.
