Nassar Abogados advised Phoenix Tower on El Salvador acquisition
Central American law firm Nassar Abogados acted for Phoenix Tower on its acquisition of 202 wireless communication tower sites from Digicel in El Salvador.
Phoenix Tower International owns and operates over 1,400 towers and other wireless infrastructure and related sites throughout Latin America, the Caribbean and the United States. The company’s investors include funds managed by Blackstone Tactical Opportunities and is headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida. Digicel is a mobile phone network provider operating in 31 markets across the Caribbean, Central America, and the South Pacific. The company is incorporated in Bermuda, and based in Jamaica.
The deal, which value and terms remained confidential, is set to expand the Central American footprint of Phoenix Tower and its partnership with Digicel.
Phoenix Tower instructed Nassar Abogados in El Salvador and Choate Hall & Stewart in the US while Digicel retained Orrick as international counsel.
