Nassar counsels PTI on Latin America portfolio purchase

Nassar Abogados has advised Phoenix Tower International (PTI) in Nicaragua on its purchase of Uniti Group’s Latin America transmission tower portfolio, comprising some 500 transmission towers located in Nicaragua, Mexico and Colombia.

Arkansas, US-based Uniti is an internally managed real estate investment trust engaged in the acquisition and construction of mission critical communications infrastructure, and is a leading provider of wireless infrastructure solutions for the communications industry.

Florida, US-based PTI owns and manages more than 6,000 towers, 986km of fibre optic and more than 80,000 other wireless infrastructure and related sites throughout the US, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, Costa Rica, Panama, El Salvador, Guatemala, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Dominican Republic, French West Indies, Jamaica, Argentina, Ecuador and Bolivia.
