New managing partner for Baker McKenzie in Chile

Baker McKenzie announced that Antonio Ortúzar Vicuña is its new managing director in Chile, taking over from León Larraín.

santiadodechileLarraín served as the firm´s managing partner in Chile for 23 years and wil continue advising clients on M&A matters.

In the announcement, Jaime Trujillo, regional chair of Baker McKenzie in Latin America, said: “We are proud to have Antonio as our newest managing partner in Chile. We are confident he will continue expanding Baker McKenzie’s presence in one of the region’s top economies while managing a talented roster of legal experts with deep knowledge of the industries that are most important to our clients.”

Baker McKenzie opened in Santiago de Chile (pictured) in 1995. It now has offices in Argentina, Brazil (via a cooperation agreement with a Brazilian firm), Colombia, México, Peru and Venezuela.
