Nicholson y Cano advises BID Invest on IHSA loan
Argentinian law firm Nicholson y Cano has advised BID Invest, the private sector arm of the Inter-American Development Bank, on a $10 million loan to International Health Services Argentina (IHSA).
IHSA is a medical services provider known in the local market as Emergencias.
The loan, which has a six-year term, will finance IHSA’s expansion plans and allow it to attend to more patients, invest in medical equipment, improve its operational infrastructure, acquire new technology, implement data analysis processes and purchase an air ambulance.
The Nicholson y Cano financial department’s team advising BID Invest was led by Mariano Fabrizio and featured associate Gonzalo Rivas Orozco.
Emergencias was counselled by law firm Bissonni, Carcavallo & Asociados, with a team led by Mariano Lucero.
BID Invest was advised in the US by Hunton Andrews Kurth, with a team led by partner Vera Reichsteiner.
