NLD promotes new partner and new director
Chilean law firm NLD Abogados has announced the appointment of José Miguel Diez as new partner in the Corporate Law practice and Bernardita Calvo as new director of Regulatory Law.
José Miguel Diez (pictured left) joined NLD in January 2022. His areas of expertise are Corporate Law, Mergers & Acquisitions, Financing, Capital Markets and Investment Funds. He has actively participated in M&A transactions, public share offerings and in the structuring of public and private investment funds. He has also advised banks, local and international pension funds and several companies in project finance.
Bernardita Calvo (pictured right) joined the firm in March 2021. She is a lawyer graduated from Universidad Los Andes. Her areas of specialization are Regulatory Law, Environmental Law, Energy, Natural Resources and Real Estate. Since joining NLD she has advised several clients on regulatory and environmental matters, including Merck Sharp & Dohme, Emergent Cold, Waterlogic, Elis Group, among others.
