NPAdv announces the addition of two partners
NPAdv announced the addition of two lawyers to the firm: Diego Enrico Peñas (pictured left) and André Brandão (pictured right).
Diego Enrico Peñas has been a senior lawyer at Nabarro & Pfeferman Advogados for 3 years and has been promoted to partner. Diego has extensive experience in tax and regulatory advice involving the structuring and implementation of M&A transactions, complex financial and corporate operations, both nationally and internationally.
Diego holds a law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) and an LL.M. in Tax Law and Tax Accounting from IBMEC. He is certified in extension courses (post-graduation lato sensu) by Columbia University in the Global Law and Business Seminar: “Deals: Law and Economics of Transactions”, in Tax Planning by the Brazilian Institute of Tax Studies (IBET) and in Taxation in the Financial and Capital Markets by the São Paulo Association of Tax Studies (APET).
André Brandão Ionta is the new partner at Nabarro & Pfeferman Advogados in the Corporate area. With extensive experience in the Corporate, M&A, Banking and Fintech areas, André has worked both in law firms and in leadership positions in large companies and financial institutions. He has worked in multinational companies as Legal and Compliance Director and his last position was in a technology company that became a unicorn.
André has a law degree from Mackenzie Presbyterian University, an LLM in Corporate Law and Tax Law from Insper, as well as an MBA – Master Business Administration from FGV – Fundação Getúlio Vargas.
