Oliveira & Carneiro Maia Advogados reinforces the Corporate Crime area with the arrival of Fernando de Moraes Pousada

With extensive experience as a corporate criminal lawyer, Fernando de Moraes Pousada (pictured) has worked in law firms in São Paulo and as the manager of the legal department of a multinational animal protein company (JBS S.A.), advising and representing legal entities, executives, managers and employees, both as investigated and as victims.

Conciliating legal knowledge with business reality, Fernando has assisted clients in the criminal sphere during the criminal investigation phase, as well as in several criminal procedures and criminal lawsuits in Federal and State Courts, covering all levels of jurisdiction (first instance, Federal and State Regional Courts, Superior Court of Justice, and Federal Supreme Court).

The lawyer has experience in criminal business law and preventive consulting, with the objective of avoiding the liability and/or involvement of clients in eventual criminal proceedings, as well as direct assistance to victims of crimes, as assistant prosecutor in criminal proceedings.
