Olaechea names Carol Quiroz as new partner

Peruvian law firm Estudio Olaechea has announced the promotion of Carol Quiroz (pictured) as a new partner in the firm’s Data Protection practice.

Carol has been with the firm for 5 years. She has almost two decades of experience in legal consulting related to corporate law and regulatory compliance. She also advises on corporate formation, mergers and acquisitions, civil and commercial contracts, corporate maintenance and bankruptcy proceedings.

She holds a law degree from the Universidad de San Martín de Porres, a Master’s Degree in Civil Law from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and a Master’s Degree in Digital Law and New Technologies from the Universidad de Salamanca (Spain), and a Diploma in Data Governance from the Universidad del CEMA (Argentina).

She is Chair for Peru of the Latin American Privacy Association and member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals and of the Network of Lawyers for a Digital Peru.

With this appointment, Estudio Olaechea has nine female partners, reflecting its commitment to gender parity at partner level.
