Oliveira e Olivi announces new external consultant for the firm
Oliveira e Olivi is honored to announce the arrival of renowned jurist Oswaldo Henrique Duek (pictured), who joins the team as an external consultant.
With a solid career in legal and academic circles, Dr. Duek promises to add technical knowledge and a strategic vision to the firm, the result of decades of dedication to the legal field.
A lawyer who graduated from the Faculdade Brasileira de Ciências Jurídicas (1976), he holds a Master’s degree (1987), a PhD (1995) and is a Livre-docente (1999) from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), where he has also been a Professor of Law since 2002.
He is the coordinator of the Criminal Law Center of the institution’s stricto sensu postgraduate program and leader of the Criminology and Victimology Research Group at PUC-SP. During his more than 30-year career in the Public Prosecutor’s Office, he has served as a prosecutor, consolidating his name as a reference in the legal field.
In addition, Dr. Duek is a full member of the São Paulo Lawyers Institute (IASP) and the Brazilian Lawyers Institute (IAB). He is also Regional Vice-President in São Paulo of the Brazilian Group of the International Association of Criminal Law (AIDP), reinforcing his contribution and commitment to the development and evolution of law in Brazil and on the international stage.
