ONTIER adds corporate, M&A partner in Lima
Global law firm ONTIER has welcomed Aldo Cornejo as the new partner responsible for its corporate and M&A area in Lima
“This incorporation reinforces ONTIER’s intention to strengthen its support to Peruvian companies in this particularly complicated context, betting on sectorial specialisation and the incorporation of new talent aligned with the innovative vision of the firm,” ONTIER said.
The incorporation will strengthen the firm’s team offering advice in corporate and M&A aspects, including corporate and contractual consultancy, financing and bankruptcy matters, it added.
Aldo (pictured) has more than 15 years’ experience in corporate consulting and management of legal teams, specialising in M&A and having participated in numerous significant transactions.
Aldo holds a law degree from the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas, with a specialisation in business law from the same university, and an LLM from IE Law School.
Prior to joining ONTIER, he worked as a corporate lawyer at several companies, such as Grupo Gloria, Banco de Crédito del Perú and Scotiabank.
This is ONTIER’s second addition to its Peru team in as many months, having incorporated Eduardo Rojas into its tax practice in August.
