This week, PPU acted for Chilean financial services company Tanner on a short-term debt issuance while in Peru, Rodrigo Elias & Medrano advised the underwriters of Conelsur´s $35 million bond issuance. 

Elsewhere, Baker Mckenzie promoted 10 to the partnership across the region while in El Salvador, Consortium Legal helped telco Digicel obtain a $1.6 million financing.

Davis Polk acted for the initial purchasers on $150 million notes offering by Arcor
Davis Polk acted for the initial purchasers in a Rule 144A/Regulation S notes offering by Argentine candymaker Arcor.

Oppenhoff & Partner instructed on 98 MW solar park project in Chile
German law firm Oppenhoff & Partner advised AustrianSolar on matters arising from the development of Huatacondo, a 98 MW solar park in northern Chile.

Miranda & Amado reprises role on new issue by Financiera OH!
Interbank returned to Miranda & Amado for the B serie of the second issuance of PEN 120 million (approximately $37 million) negotiable certificates of deposit by Financiera OH!

Marval instructed on notes issue by Cordial
Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal advised Cordial Compañía Financiera and its parent company Banco Supervielle on the former´s $500 million notes issue.

Consortium Legal advised Digicel on a $1.35 billion loan
Consortium Legal, through its El Salvador office, advised the mobile operator Digicel on obtaining the financing.

Four law firms guide OHL´s acquisition of its Mexican affiliate
Simpson Thacher, Garrigues, Latham & Watkins and Gonzalez Calvillo worked together on the deal.

Baker McKenzie promotes 10 across Latin America
Baker McKenzie announced a round of promotions, including 10 new partners and a lateral hire in Latin America.

Guerrero Olivos advised Carozzi on Argentinean acquisition
Chilean law firm Guerrero Olivos acted for Carozzi on its acquisition of Bonafide in Argentina.
