Pacheco Coto instructed on Lala´s new venture in Costa Rica
Central American law firm Pacheco Coto advised Florida Bebidas in creating a strategic alliance with Mexican dairy Grupo Lala.
Florida Bebidas is a Costa Rican company which produces and markets food and beverages. Grupo LaLa is a Mexican producer of dairy products with operations in Latin America.
The negotiations involved the sale of Florida Bebidas’ dairy processing plant to Lala, structuring the milk supply, a manufacturing agreement for Florida Bebidas’ dairy products and a distribution agreement for Lala’s products. The deal also included a milk supply agreement with Coopeleche, a regional farming cooperative in Costa Rica.
Florida Bebidas, Lala and Coopeleche will remain independent organizations.
