PAGBAM and Garrido Abogados advise on refinancing of Celulosa’s loans
Pérez Alati, Grondona, Benites & Arntsen and Garrido Abogados have counselled on the refinancing of Celulosa Argentina S.A.’s loans
Garrido Abogados has advised the pulp and paper manufacturer Celulosa Argentina S.A. in the refinancing of the loans agreed in 2012 and 2014 by Banco de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, advised by Pérez Alati, Grondona, Benites & Arntsen; as well as the granting of a new financing. The original loan had an aggregate amount of $17,000,000 US dollars.
The transaction involved the execution of addenda to the loan agreements originally entered into by the parties in 2012 and 2014; the execution of a loan agreement in respect of the new facility; the execution of certain pledge agreements with second and third degree registration over assets previously pledged in favour of Banco Ciudad; and the cancellation of certain guarantees granted by the company RUDACO S.A. under the financing granted by Banco Ciudad in 2012.
